Barbarian: Someone who does not conform to the prevailing culture. Romans 12:2 tells us to not be conformed to this world.
Ambassador: A person who represents his sovereign to a foreign land. 2 Corinthians 5:20 tells us that we are called to be ambassadors for Jesus in this world.
Here’s what we believe in addition to the Essentials of Our Faith:
We love and support the local church by coming alongside them to reach more men & build stronger servant-leaders!
Isolation is terminal. The antidote to addiction, suicide, and depression is found in brotherhood.
Different religions are not different paths to the same God. Jesus claimed to be the only way. (John 14:6). We’re with him!
There are only two genders (Genesis 1:27). And Men’s Alliance is for biological males ages 13 and older.
Physical strength is important. If God has blessed you with the health to workout, it would be evil to waste that talent (Matthew 25:14-30).
All people have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)
The penalty for sin is death. (Romans 6:23)
God, the Creator of the Universe, eternally existing in three persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), came to earth as the person of Jesus. Jesus is God in human form. (Colossians 1:15)
Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and willingly died on a Roman cross to pay the death penalty for our sins. He rose from the dead on the third day just as he predicted. (1 Corinthians 15:3-8)
Salvation is a free gift that is available to everyone. We are saved by grace and not by our good works or any human efforts. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
“If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in our hearts that God raised him from the dead we will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)
Jesus made the powerful claim to be the only way to God the Father. This means that Jesus is either the only way or he is a liar, but having made such a claim, he logically cannot be just a good teacher. (John 14:6)
The Bible is our blueprint for how we should live and what we believe. When faced with conflicting ideas from culture or personal feelings, we trust Scripture to guide us in truth. (Psalm 119:105)
