The Church in America is Under Attack

Church is under attack

The Church in America is certainly not under persecution like the Church in Kenya, Nigeria, Syria, North Korea, or China. We don’t fear machete attacks on Sunday morning or imprisonment in forced labor camps.

Yet our Church is still very much under attack. It is an attack from within. Where smooth voices have infiltrated our ranks and replaced the gospel of Jesus with a pep-rally for our feelings. Instead of repenting from sin, we’re told to practice being our authentic selves. Instead of changing our lives to match the commands of scripture, we’re twisting scripture to conform to our desires. Bible verses that are unpopular are simply brushed aside. Feelings have become more important than truth.

Instead of being fed to lions, we’re simply being fed lies.

The remedy to this problem is for men to have the courage to practice biblical masculinity in a world gone weak.

  • We are called to protect our family (Nehemiah 4:14, Luke 22:36)
  • We are called to provide for our family (1 Timothy 5:8)
  • We are called to lead our family as the head of our home (Ephesians 5:23)
  • We are called to love our wives as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25)

Men, the way to fight back against the culture is by standing firm in our faith and acting like the men God designed us to be.
