'Tis the Season...for Apologetics!

Christmas is the time of year when many people attend church for the first time since Easter. It’s the time of year when people display images of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. And it’s when almost everyone is thinking about, asking about, or considering in some way the birth of Jesus, who was God in human form. Even the word Christmas has millions of people saying the name of Christ without even realizing it.

In short…this is our time of year!

This is when the doors are wide open for a conversation about Jesus!

We can ask questions like:
How does your family celebrate Christmas?

Do you guys go to any local Christmas Eve services?

We’re going to an outdoor living nativity play - with real camels and sheep. Do you guys want to join us?

This is our time of year to be a little more bold, to ask more questions, and to invite friends and neighbors to hear the gospel.

I want to encourage you this Christmas season to be a bold ambassador for Christ. Display a nativity, or invite someone to a Christmas Eve service. And say “Merry Christmas!” to everyone. Don’t water it town with a weak “Happy Holidays.” Risk being a little offensive. This is our season. This is our holiday. This is our Savior!
