Ep. 200: Finding God's Purpose During Chaos and Dysfunction ft. Isaiah ‘Tank’ Baker

Video
Men’s Alliance

Isaiah "Tank" Baker shares his journey from an incredibly challenging upbringing to joining the Army and finding Jesus. Raised in a financially struggling family, he moved between schools, lacked guidance, and dealt with his father’s absence due to prison. During his troubled teen years, he experimented with drugs and alcohol. In college, on a wrestling scholarship, he faced academic probation and lost his scholarship after his step father’s overdose. Tank coped with grief through heavy drinking and chaotic living, but after years of trying to find purpose after his stepdad's passing, he joined the Army to escape his destructive path. He became a medic, served in Afghanistan, and eventually found faith with his wife in Texas, marking a turning point in their spiritual journey. Ep 48: Don't Fear Death

Video
Men’s Alliance

In 1948 C.S. Lewis warned against being afraid of an atomic bomb, because we were all certain to die anyways, and there is always a disease, accident, or war in every period of history.  Today, these words are just as true.  We can't allow our fears to keep us on the sideline.  When death finds us, let it find us living boldly as barbarian ambassadors for Christ!
